The European Board on Drug and Alcohol Concerns

The United Methodist European Board on Drug and Alcohol Concerns, comprised of representatives from central conferences across Europe, works to help congregations, individual members, and central conferences to effectively address the issue of substance abuse in Europe. Task force members are appointed by their bishop and serve as a liasion to SPSARV. The board disseminates awareness and educational resources on drug and alcohol issues and abuse prevention, and leads seminars and trainings for both clergy and laity. It also offers technical assistance and seed grants to local church leaders and partner organizations.
