Africa Task Force

Africa Task Force

The United Methodist African Task Force on Substance Abuse and Related Violence, a continental leadership network of United Methodist clergy and laity from all central conferences in Africa, works to respond to alcohol, other drugs and related-violence on the continent through trainings, resource dissemination and other impactful strategies. Task force members are appointed by their bishop and serve as a liasion to SPSARV.

Working in collaboration with governments, NGOs, and members of the faith community, the African Task Force empowers and enables individuals, families, institutions and communities to shape a future that is free from dangers and consequences of substance abuse and related violence.
