SPSARV to Host Tutorial Webcast on Applying for Grants

Applying for grants can often seem complicated, leaving a potential applicant overwhelmed with  questions, sometimes only to give up on submitting an application.

The United Methodist Special Program on Substance Abuse and Related Violence (SPSARV) hopes to change that by hosting a live webcast tutorial about its grant process. The webcast is for all persons interested in substance abuse and related violence ministries, initiatives, and advocacy.

The one-hour webcast will be held online on Friday, March 30, at 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) and will guide participants, step-by-step, through the grant application. To access the webcast on March 30, please visit http://umcmission.org/live/.

SPSARV is a General Conference initiative that equips United Methodists and partners to be informed and compassionate responders to alcohol, other drugs and related violence worldwide. The SPSARV Grant Program funds ministries and initiatives worldwide, ranging from congregational ministries, recovery groups, treatment centers, addiction awareness campaigns, counseling opportunities, and workshops.
